Sunlight

It's just before 10PM as I write this. Nothing unusual about it, except there is still daylight outside. It's also light by 5 30 AM in the morning.

Hi, I may be moving to Calgary this year. I am wondering about sunlight in the winter. Is it true that there is only 4 hours of sunlight in January?

No, the sun shines here 90% of the time in the winter. Even if its cold, you will still get a large dose of solar radiation and if you spend time outside, you will need a good pair of sun glasses.

I came here from Vancouver and was amazed how much better I felt here in the winters as compared to the 4 months of perpetual grayness there.
